Where do I Go Now?

I am so confused. I’m working on nailing down a solid outline now that I’ve decided what the story is REALLY about, and I’m stuck. I really don’t know how I want to proceed with this. So the story is her finding herself and proving she’s as strong as any man. The first half I have her struggling with trust and her children’s care. She knows she has to provide for them, but doesn’t know who to trust to care for them. At the same time she is learning to use a bow, struggling with a lack of physical strength from a society overdependent on technology. Is that the whole book though? Her learning to hunt? When she finally trusts someone to care for her children and brings home meat the book is finished? It doesn’t feel like enough, it feels short and empty, there’s more to this story I feel but I don’t know what it is, I’m at a loss. Conflicts, complications, events escape me.
